Was the Eraserheads the end of cultural history?

I remembered my parents watching the film “Across the Universe,” a Beatles-inspired movie which used all their popular songs to make a story plot situated in the time of the Vietnam War and civil revolutions.

Someday, maybe someone will do the same thing for Eraserheads as a tribute to their songs which influence younger generations up until now. Imagine “Pare Ko” being sung by an actor while walking past riots and rallies, or watching them from the local pub or sari-sari store.
